Mayuri | Mehndi Celebrations

An Indo–Mexican Pastel Celebration

Set against the elevated backdrop of the 20 on Barham deck, Mayuri & Yashtil’s celebration unfolded as a vibrant yet refined Indo–Mexican pastel affair — a concept born spontaneously during a late-night call just past 2 a.m., when inspiration struck, and imagination took the lead.

What began as an idea quickly evolved into an evening filled with colour, culture, and effortless joy. Soft pastel hues intertwined with Mexican influences, creating a setting that felt both playful and thoughtfully curated. Every element was designed to reflect the couple’s spirit while maintaining a sense of understated elegance.

Mexico holds a deeply personal meaning for Mayuri & Yashtil — it was the destination of their very first holiday together. That shared memory became the emotional foundation of the evening, woven subtly through the design language and overall experience, transforming the celebration into something both intimate and immersive.

Curated and orchestrated by Mehfil Haus, the event was a seamless blend of storytelling, culture, and celebration — an unforgettable night that honoured love, spontaneity, and shared beginnings.
